Guess the hidden five-letter word in six tries. After each guess the tiles change colour to tell you how close you are.
A first guess packed with common letters, using several vowels and letters like R, S, T and N, reveals a lot in one go.
Once a letter is grey, avoid reusing it. Build each new guess only from letters that are still possible.
Keep yellow letters but place them in a new position, and try to test fresh letters at the same time.
Guess the hidden five-letter word within six tries. After each guess, green tiles mark correct letters in the right spot, yellow tiles mark letters in the word but wrong spot, and grey tiles mark letters not in the word.
A strong opener uses common letters and several vowels, for example a word combining vowels with R, S, T and N. Revealing lots of common letters at once narrows the answer quickly.
